Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce to Honor BGI’s Co-Founder Milton Puryear

On Wednesday, February 23, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce will recognize Milton Puryear, Brooklyn Greenway Initiative Co-Founder and Director of Planning, at its annual Black History Month Celebration. The reception will take place at St. Francis College, 6:00-8:30PM.

Honorees also include Dr. John Gibbs, Associate Professor of Chemistry and Environmental Sciences, Medgar Evers College/CUNY; Sharon Myrie, Vice President of Education, Brooklyn Botanic Garden; Frank Stewart, President and COO, American Association of Blacks in Energy; and William Suggs, President, American Association of Blacks in Energy – NY Metropolitan Area Chapter.
