Future Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway Bike Tour

Join Brooklyn Greenway Initiative for our annual spring bike tour along the northern 10 miles of the planned Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway route. This is a guided ride at a family-friendly pace, with stops for restrooms and water. Make sure your bicycle is in good working order and bring a spare tube, extra water, sunscreen, snacks and a camera!

We’ll ride from Greenpoint to Red Hook, and then loop back to Pier 6 at Brooklyn Bridge Park for those who would like to attend the Governors Island Family Festival and/or tour the OpSail 2012 visiting vessels. PortSide has prepared an OpSail guide that includes the ships docking on the Brooklyn piers, which you can download here.
