A 14-MILE ROUTE FOR ALL NEW YORKERS

The Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway is a planned 14-mile landscaped route, physically separated from traffic and with separate paths for pedestrians and cyclists. When complete, the greenway will connect neighborhood parks and open spaces from Greenpoint to Bay Ridge. Brooklyn Greenway Initiative (BGI) is the 501c3 non-profit organization planning for the greenway and its long-term stewardship. BGI works with government agencies, private property owners, community partners, sponsors and volunteers to fulfill the greenway vision.
