Brooklyn Greenway Initiative is proud to be a co-sponsor of the 4th Annual Brooklyn Breast Cancer Ride 2 Live. Please join us on Saturday, October 9th, for an early autumn bicycle ride from Prospect Park to Coney Island, and help raise funds for the Brooklyn Breast Cancer Program at Maimonides Cancer Center. Details below and at www.breastcancerride2live.com.
Brooklyn’s large, diverse population suffers from some of the rarest, most aggressive cases of breast cancer anywhere. For over five years, the Brooklyn Breast Cancer Program at the Maimonides Cancer Center has offered patients the finest multidisciplinary breast cancer treatment and coordinated care. Maimonides provides 23,000 patient visits a year, but must expand its facility to help the increasing number of women who seek services. The plan is to be able to accommodate 28,000 patient visits a year. Maimonides is confident that it can achieve this goal with the help of friends & supporters … people like YOU.
Join us for the Brooklyn Breast Cancer Ride 2 Live — a scenic motorcycle and bicycle ride through Brooklyn ending with a party at MCU Park by the famous boardwalk in Coney Island! All proceeds will benefit the Brooklyn Breast Cancer Program at the Maimonides Cancer Center.
