The Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway Will Be A 14 Mile, Off-Street Path From Greenpoint To Sunset Park.

The Greenway will connect Brooklyn to Manhattan’s Greenway network, increasing waterfront access and diversifying transportation options. Other public benefits include improved recreation options and increased economic development in neighborhoods near the Greenway.

The Greenway has received an array of public and private support. Four miles of interim and permanent greenway are now open on Columbia Street, Erie Basin, Kent Avenue and Williamsburg Street. The Department of Transportation is developing the master plan for the Greenway.
