Transform Brooklyn's WaterfrontWith just a little time and effort, you can help make Brooklyn's waterfront an environmentally-conscious destination for commuters, exercisers and all Brooklynites. Here are 5 ways to help build the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway:
1. Volunteer
Though the Greenway is a big project, we have a small staff and rely on volunteers. We can tailor projects to your time, interests and skills.
2. Clean The Greenway
Runners, cyclists, pedestrians and skateboarders are already using the ¾ mile Greenway segment along Columbia Street.
We host clean-ups on the 2nd Saturday of each month to keep the new route free of trash and other debris. Please join us!
3. Write A Letter Take just a few moments to tell your local elected officials that you support the Brooklyn Greenway.
4. Host An Event We are always looking for great places to host our fundraisers, planning meetings and other events.Have a great fundraising idea? E-mail Meg at mfellerath(at)brooklyngreenway.org or call her at 718.522.0193
