Support BGI and the Greenway!

BGI is working harder than ever to expand vital open space in NYC by working towards the completion of the 26-mile Greenway and advocating for a fully connected, 400-mile NYC greenway network.

BGI’s Naval Cemetery Landscape is open to the public 5 days a week so more people can enjoy summer and fall flowers.

Join us to support the expansion of greenways and access to nature in NYC!

$100 — Golden Alexander (Zizia aurea) is a host plant for the Black Swallowtail butterfly.

$250 — Butterfly Weed (Asclepias tuberosa) supports butterflies and hummingbirds by providing nectar, and goldfinches and orioles by providing nesting material.

$500 — Redbud Tree (Cercis canadensis) supports butterflies and hummingbirds by providing nectar, and chickadees and goldfinches by providing seeds.
